Elviria

Elviria is an upmarket residential paradise located midway between Santa Clara and Las Chapas areas of the Marbella municipality. The lower part of Elviria is mostly flat and is well appointed with its own international school, tennis club, restaurants, shops and beauty salons making it an excellent option for a second home or relocation. Heading inland you will find wonderful well-manicured streets that are home to luxurious villas, townhouses and apartment complexes. Elviria winds right up to the La Mairena development, which sits in the heart of a natural park protected by UNESCO.

This location is ideal for many because it’s only a 30 minutes’ drive from Malaga International airport and only 5 km from Marbella.

Elviria’s location close to shops, bars, dining establishments, key amenities, splendid beaches and golf and other leisure activities, it offers all the ingredients of a classic Spanish dream resort.

Attractions

Aventura Amazonia
Aventura Amazonia is the largest adventure park in Andalusia and the only one right on the coast. Just 500m. from the beach and has a total of 83 challenges in the trees and 20 ziplines distributed over 6 adventure circuits. You can also launch yourself on the longest treetop zipline in Andalusia, an amazing 240m in length. The Mini Kids area offers adventure challenges and a zipline, for kiddies from the age of 4 to 7, and serves as a creche for parents who want to do the circuits and have nowhere to leave their little ones. The park is open all year round.
Artola Dunnes
Artola Dunnes located in Carib Playa, just a few metres from Artola Beach, in a place protected by sand dunes. You can access the beach through the green area that surrounds the residential complex across the dunes on the wooded walkway.

At the Beach

Golden sandy beaches stretch right the way along Elviria and is known to have the finest beaches and facilities on the whole of the Costa Del Sol. Beaches in this part of the Coast are all public and equipped with showers, WC, lifeguards, sun loungers, and parasols. There are several local chiringuitos serving cold beer, a great range of cocktails and delicious food. The famous Nikki Beach Club is located here for those who wish to sunbathe in style, accompanied with DJs and day and night partying.

Shopping

The shops in Elviria are mainly Spanish boutiques, supermarkets and souvenir/tourist stores. There is also a local fruit and vegetable market held in the area every Friday. If you’re looking for a more up-market shopping experience, world renowned Puerto Banús and La Cañada shopping centre, which has over 150 shops, are only a short journey away.

Sports

Elviria does have some of the best golf courses in southern Spain, including the Santa Maria Golf Club which boasts an 18-hole course set amidst a wonderful pinewood and oak forest.

If you fancy a game of tennis visit the Royal Tennis Club, located just off the A7 at the entrance to the urbanization. One of the most fun activities available in this area is the Buggy Safari – an exciting day the whole family will remember! A certified tour guide takes buggy riders off road to visit Andalucía’s lush landscape with breath-taking views of the Med.

Eating Out

Although Elviria is a relatively small area, it manages to pack in an incredible selection of restaurants, chiringuitos and beach clubs. You could dine out at a different type of restaurant every day, including traditional Spanish menus, Chinese, Indian, Italian and British. Foodies will be impressed by the first-class quality; especially the Michelin starred El Lago Restaurant.
